Mary-Alice Daniel attended Yale University and was selected by Poet Laureate Louise Glück for the Clapp Fellowship, funding a year of writing. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from the Helen Zell Writers’ Program at the University of Michigan. Her poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, Prairie Schooner, The Iowa Review, New England Review, Indiana Review, and Best New Poets. Her adopted home is Los Angeles, where she earned a PhD in English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Southern California.
