Renee Daniel Flagler Renee Daniel Flagler is a writer who hasserved in marketing, promotions and events for over ten years. Professionally,her writing has been featured in business and consumer newsletters, magazines,ads, brochures, websites and sales & media kits nationwide. Flagler has treasured the art of writingsince she was a young girl and expressed her delight in the form of shortstories, poetry, lyrics and screen plays. Her first published work was a poemfeatured in her high school year book. In 2004 she took her love of creativewriting seriously and self-published her first novel, Mountain High,Valley Low, under her company, Aspicomm Media. Flagler’s next novel, Miss-Guided will be available in the spring of 2006. Under the divisions of Aspicomm Media,Flagler has been able to marry the things she enjoys the most, marketing, eventsand writing, into one fulfilling personal career. She continues to consultclients with innovative marketing support, produce and coordinate captivatingevents and plans to publish several more titles of her own as well as the worksof other aspiring authors. Flagler has been featured in Ebony Magazine, The NewYork Amsterdam News, Our Times, Caribbean Life Newspaper, The Columbus Post,Black Star News, and Mahogany Baby Magazine thus far. She was also awarded theEntrepreneur of the Year 2005 Award by C&B Books Distribution and theEntrepreneurial Legacy Award of Excellence by Disilgold Soul Magazine. In addition to being President and CEO ofAspicomm Media, Flagler is currently pursuing the launch of Futures by Design,a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk teenage girls byhelping them build confidence and realize their potential in an effort toorchestrate the promise of brighter futures. Flagler is a graduate of New SchoolUniversity with a Masters in Media Arts as well as a graduate of St. John’sUniversity with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She is a member of theNational Black MBA Association, National Association of Female Executives andPublishers Marketing Association. Currently, she resides in Long Island, NY withher husband and children.
